This glorious time went flying by
we lived in the moment
with our spirits soaring high
filled with rich experiences
which satisfied our hunger
with life lessons learned
we rose from our slumber
these overwhelming emotions
which numb the senses
it's time my friends
to lower our defenses.
the dream is almost over
the end is near
time to bid farewell
to things that we hold so dear
The time has come to leave the herd
all I can do is spread the word
Even if it's time to restrain your tears
is it too much to ask for a few more years?
